So Sudden Genting-Here-We-Come

it was around 12 when Huey knocked my door...

asking me whether i wanna go Genting o nt...

i was in

deep shock

i'm going Genting at 1am with my coursemates...

wow...

another spontaneous trip...

my last semester with my coursemate...hopefully

seems so happening mayn...

gathered around and departed at 130am...

13 members...

3 cars...

reached there around 3am...

most of them went casino to "fatt choi"...

today wasn't in the mood to gamble...

therefore...

went around with Kahwee's DSLR

but the weather wasn't so good...

thick mist blocking our sight...

Home Sweet Home Weekend

i just had a long weekend...

started on thursday til sunday...

feel so good being at home with family...

thursday went out with little rascal Leonard and did some cleaning for my cupboard...

hehe

got cny mood...

so happie...

baking marathon for my Friday and Saturday...

friday morning helped mommy doing "kuih bangkit"...

recipe prepared by my mom...

my job is only to "kepit bunga"...

friday night...

tried to bake cookie...

got the recipe from my aunt...

but did some adjustment myself...

hahaha...

funny experience i should say...

i estimated the amount of ingredient wrongly...
and i nearly burn the mixer...
and i bought type of nut...
i should have bought the processed one...

after kopek for hours...

i got the dough done around 1am...

i end my 1st cookie attempt around 5 in the morning...*dang*

saturday did some cny shopping with my family...

wow...

shopping for cny...

i bought a pair of jeans

so so happie...

at night...

another attempt of cookie baking...

2nd time...

this time with the same recipe...

i re-adjust the amount of ingredients again...

haha...

geram...

at last result seems success...

hahaha

thats all for my weekend baking session...

looking forward for cny...

another 3 more weeks...

My Taiping and Penang Holiday~Day3

today's destination was...

PENANG~!!!

we reach Penang around 11am...

we first drop by Shirley's house...

then we off to fill our stomach with nice food...

we wanted to try "siew ngap fan"...

unfortunately...

luck wasnt on our side...

HABIS~!!!

wei...haven't 1pm le...so fast finish...wth

den we tried chicken rice...

we got the last few plates of chicken rice...

when we wanted to add order...

FINISH~!!!

omg...crazy til da max...

den we off to d next makan place...

next stop...

we visited the Burmese Temple...

on the way into the temple...

there are pictures of stories...

we camwhore alot...

throw coins into the wishing pots...

next we went to this Thailand temple opposite it...

there is this coconut ice cream...

quite similar to the one i had in Songkhla...

i prefer the one from Thailand...

nicer...

next...makan again...

there is this air mata kucing...super nice...

only rm1.50

den we went to Shamrock beach...

the sand were too coarse...

den we headed to Feringgi Beach to catch up with the sunset...

the beach was so beautiful...

we camwhore the most here...

the sunset view was so so breathe taking...

my masterpiece of da day >.<

later dinner was at town steamboat...

quite similar to Yuan steamboat at sunway...

but there are more choices of food offered...

from dimsums, assam laksa, satay, bak kut teh, veges, meats, cakes, ice creams,.....etc etc

din manage to eat alot...

super full...

later headed back Taiping...

and we continue with our pillow talk...

the next day...

manage to watch sunrise from Chiayin's house...

we had breakfast at home...

Chiayin's parents tapao-ed a kind of noodle...

famous here...

forget the name...

the noodle was smooth...

soup was vr light...

ngam ngam hor...

den we headed to Taiping Lake for our last camwhore session before heading back Pj...

we bought 11am ticket....

thats all for my Taiping and Penang Trip with friends...

My Taiping and Penang Holiday~Day2

work up early for breakfast...

breakfast was at...dunno-wat-name-place

we had wan tan mee...

the wan tan mee is different from wat i use to have in mlk...

the mee is fatter...hahaha

first stop of the day...we went Maxwell Hill...

the surroundings were very peaceful and cooling...

bought 10am ticket...

went up by land rover...

we were lucky enough to haf this supper funny driver...

asking us funny general knowledges...

lucky to have him to entertain us for the 93 sharp corners and steep slopes...

if nt will b dizzy n headache till vomit...

upon reaching...

was very amazed by the cool air and superb beautiful scenery...

we only have around 30 minutes to walk and camwhore around...

our trip down hill was 11am...

if not we got to wait til 4pm for d next trip...

so we camwhore gao gao for this half hour...haha

we met another group of UM students from telecomunication engineering...

so coincidence...

UM is one~!!!

YAY~!!!

there is this plant that caught my attention...

super cute...

next stop was Burmese Pool...

water here was super clean, cool and refreshing...

lunch was at

chicken rice~!!!

Taiping still has this meter parking system...

this shop is famous i think...

a lot of photos hung at the wall...

the chopping board is also famous i think...haha

before heading back for some rest...

Chiayin drove us around Taiping town...

we stop by Taiping Lake for some sight seeing...

we tapao-ed asam laksa back home...

northern states are famous with their asam laksa...

therefore must give it a try...

dinner was at a restaurant at Matang...

SEAFOOD~!!!

super delicious~!!!

next stop was to Night Safari...

what i can say is...

Night Safari is a must-visit place in Taiping

i quite agree with Chiayin's brother...

the animals were probably sleeping at night...

unfortunately...

we were only able to see few types of animals there...

anyway...

nice experience

RM11 for 1 round is not worth...

therefore we camwhore gao gao there...

hiak hiak hiak

went back home after that...

pillow talk back our place...hehehe

will be heading to Penang the next day...
